Minutes of the Association Meeting
Held at Sauk Village’s Village Hall

Officers in Attendance:
Lazette Saunders – President
Mary Brown – Treasurer

Welcome and Introductions:
Lazette called the meeting to order at 7:13pm.
Lazette- welcomed everyone that was present and we moved into the Financial Report.

Financials:
Mary- gave to total amount we currently have in the bank and offered to collect dues from the attendees.

Beautification Committee:
Ms. Dorothy-Mentioned we are still looking for bids on mulch & crushed stone.  Derrick will meet with Public
Works o Saturday for prices on mulch and crushed stone.  Ms. Dorothy will secure bids on railroad ties to
maintain the beauty of the park.

No current update on the quitclaim deed that was issued to the HOA for a small portion of land behind the houses
that is in front of the park.

Welcome Committee:
No report.

Activities Committee:
Christina stated the next scheduled activity is skating; for March 25.  A flyer was sent to every resident, we need
to guarantee at least 27 people to hold the facility for a private party.  The deadline to RSVP is 3/10.  

Mary has added new contractors; JMJ Body, Cato Construction to website.

Men’s Club:
No Report

Old Business:
The police have been called several times for the dog in 1st phase.  Derrick mentioned that residents can file a
formal complaint with police department and you will have to leave your name.  However after several formal
complaints the offender will be ticketed or fined.

Also we are still looking for volunteers for the several different activities we have planned for the year.  

New Business:
Residents have been complaining about a homeowner parking on the grass in 4th phase.  Again this a situation
where the residents can call the police and file a ‘formal complaint’.  When you call the Village make sure you
take note of the time, date and the name of the person you are speaking to.  The non-emergency # is 758– 1331.
neighbors in 1st phase about a dog running loose.  And the police have come out several times to address the
issue.  No update was available because the person who made the complaint was not at the meeting.

Derrick-
The Village is sponsoring a Water Hardness Seminar on 3/10/07.  The company will offer options to rent/ lease /
buy units for reverse osmosis.

There will be a Diversity Dinner 4/20/07 at Village Hall free to the first 50 families of Sauk Village.  Families are
chosen by lottery.  RSVP by 4/6/07

Village will host an Easter Egg Hunt 4/7/07 lots of Eggs filled with candy and prizes for all ages.

Lazette asked for a motion to adjourn meeting, D. Burgess moved and it was 2nd by D. Davis, meeting was
adjourned at 8:05pm

Next meeting May 2nd 2007 at 7pm the April meeting will be replaced by an Election Forum for the Village
candidates running for Trustee.
